The diaconate committee is one of the most important committees as it deals directly with worship.
Churches in the diocese are encouraged to organize their respective diaconate.
Members of the diaconate committee are compiled of representatives of each church in the diocese. The diaconate committee member/church representative holds the responsibility of informing his respective church of the decisions reached during the committee meetings.
The committee has 6 sub-committees: Hymns, Rites & Rituals, Organization and Coptic Language, Executive & Communications. Each diaconate member serves in one of the subcommittees.
Decisions made during the diaconate committee meetings will be posted to the diocese website.
